The PNA encourages you to check out the site managed by the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (ODPHP), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Their consumer health information portal, www.healthfinder.gov, has served the public for almost a decade by linking consumers and professionals to reliable health information, daily health news, and health-related organizations. Healthfinder uses thorough selection criteria to evaluate organizations, and they have chosen to spotlight the PNA for our work to spread the news on pituitary issues.

Help For Patients’ Spouses
Well Spouse is a national, not for profit membership organization which gives support to wives, husbands, and partners of the chronically ill and/or disabled. Well Spouse support groups meet monthly. Members can share their thoughts and feelings openly with others facing similar circumstances in a supportive, non-judgmental environment. WS support groups are also an excellent source for information on a wide-range of practical issues facing spousal caregivers.

Mercy Medical Airlift; National Patient Travel Center
Do you have a family member needing long-distance travel for specialized medical evaluation, diagnosis or treatment? If so, call the National Patient Travel Center, a 501(c)(3) charity specializing in helping patients find free or low-cost travel and hospital hospitality for family members in distant cities far from home.
The NPATH Helpline is operated by Mercy Medical Airlift in support of Angel Flight America (which does 90% of long-distance charitable medical air transportation in the U.S.), Joe's House, the National Association of Hospital Hospitality Houses and the American Cancer Society. PNA's Educational Campaign: SEX is a Nine Letter Word
Pituitary patients recognize that the first signals of something being wrong with their system 'body' is when they find both their sexual health and mental health deteriorating. In order to create a higher level of awareness, suspicion and recognition, we are launching a 'SEX is a nine letter word'  Awareness Campaign and we ask you to help us, and yourself, by doing all that you can to spread the word not only about sexual and mental health, but about all of the attendant disorders that come along with Pituitary disease.
